NRU LAUNCHES NEW WEB SITE
The Northeast Rugby Union has launched a new web site in the hopes of providing better and more timely information about the union to it's members.
"The new site will help us improving communication to our members, and in making our administration more transparent." said NRU President Bruce Church. "The previous site was difficult to maintain and keep current. Our new site makes it much easier to add content and hopefully will keep our members better informed about what's going on in the Northeast." he added.
In addition to news announcements and a new events calendar, the updated site includes pages for NRU select side teams, photo albums and an online message forum. "We hope that anyone interested in Northeast Rugby will use the forums to trade information and express their opinions." said NRU College VP Fred Bressette, who is also webmaster for the new site. "The forums are open to anyone and hopefully will be another we can reach out to our players and coaches." said Bressette.
Bressette added that future updates include online financial summaries, meeting minutes and historical results or previous NRU competitions.
