Middle to high school player clinic next Sunday, Sudbury, MA

MetroWest Youth Rugby has partnered with the Northeast Academy to host  a co-ed rugby clinic for novice and experienced players in grades 6-12 on Sunday, February 26th, 2017 at the Fieldhouse in Sudbury, MA.The clinic is open to players of all levels.  Elite players and coaches will instruct players on the fundamentals of rugby through interactive games and drills.  Players will be broken into groups based on skill level.  This is a great opportunity for new players to learn from the best athletes in the Northeast in a fun family environment.

The Northeast Academy is committed to promoting the game of Sevens among the young athletes in the Northeast region and is extremely excited to partner with MetroWest Youth Rugby to promote the newest Olympic sport!  

The Northeast Academy is a National Development Academy sanctioned by USA Rugby as the official designated pathway to the USA Eagles National Team selection for both Men and Women in the Northeast of America. With training locations in New York City, Boston and Buffalo, the Academy offers development in three distinct areas: elite player advancement; coach education; and local union enrichment, and has an ultimate goal to augment the skills of players and coaches alike, growing the game within the New England and Empire Geographic Unions.
