Missing the spring rugby season already? NERFU is here to help you fill the void- we're kicking off a week-long series that features a different rugby activity or tournament each day to get your summer social calendar filled with rugby.

June 2nd – 3rd:

Get a quick rugby fix this weekend cheering on fellow NERFU clubs either in person or thru our media outlets:Collegiate Rugby Championship & Men's Club Championship

Rugby Fix Part 1: Saratoga Men's RFC blasted thru the first round of play-offs in Virginia Beach to earn a spot in the USA Rugby Men's DIII Club Championships in Glendale, CO. They kick-off against Oceanside in the Semi-final on Saturday at 11am (MST), 1pm (EST). Home page for the tournament is here:
Rugby Fix Part 2: Take a road trip to Philly for the weekend and catch the . The weekend features competitions for men's and women's college 7's teams as well as the National Small College(NSCRO) 7's Championship, the US Military Memorial Cup and the High School Rugby Challenge. June 22nd:
22nd Annual Eric White Memorial 7's – Holyoke, MA: New England’s first 7’s circuit stop on the road to the National Championship! This year’s Springfield RFC-sponsored tournament happens at Crosier Field with men’s and women’s open and social brackets, and a Northeast Women’s 7’s Qualifier.  For more information, visit

June 29th:
Newport Summer 7's – Newport, RI: Held at the beautiful Fort Adams State Park overlooking the ocean in historic Newport, this great event features concession stands, free parking and musical entertainment as well.  Now accepting entries for men’s & women’s brackets – collegiate teams welcome! July 7th:
35th Annual New England 10's - Acton, MA:  Still going strong after 35 years, this great event sponsored by the Old Gold RFC is now accepting entries for men’s and women’s social and championship divisions, and collegiate teams are welcome!  Guaranteed three-match play and a great atmosphere…check out

July 13th:
Cape Cod 7's – North Eastham, MA: The Boston Women’s Rugby Club’s 28th annual tournament is the largest women’s 7’s event in the country, featuring competitive social, college and high school divisions.  Always a good time, this year’s event theme has been chosen as…..DISNEY!   So get your costumes ready ladies, because teams of all levels are welcome at this great one day event.   For more information, visit


Connecticut 7's – New Haven, CT: New Haven RFC sponsors this great event for men’s sides from all over the Northeast.  This tournament features competitive and social divisions as well as a Northeast Men’s 7s Qualifier.   For more information, go to

Middlesex 7's – Woburn, MA: Middlesex Barbarians RFC hosts another top-notch event this year, featuring three-team pool play in men’s and women’s social divisions, as well as men’s & women’s Northeast 7s Qualifiers.  You’ll find food, beverages and massage therapists available at the venue.  Visit

2013 Can-Am Rugby Tournament – Saranac Lake/ Lake Placid, NY: The Saranac Mountaineers’ 40th annual event kicks off on Friday with the Old Boys’ matches, and keeps going strong ‘til Sunday with men’s & women’s teams in social and competitive divisions.   Always a great time in the heart of the Adirondacks!   For registration information and tournament details, go to
