Burlington Rugby has made a tradition of plunging into the cold waters of Lake Champlain each February to raise money for Special Olympics Vermont by taking part in the annual Penguin Plunge. This year was the 20th anniversary of the event and at least $400,000 was raised.

"Burlington Rugby raised over $10,000 dollars I think, for the charity, and we love Special Olympics Vermont. We've been doing this for almost 20 years. We love it every year, the crowd's really supportive and it's a great cause," said Morgan Knapton.
